The longer the album goes on (it’s a long one too) the better it sounds. The black metal on show here is inspiringly grim stuff but with few breaks for you to take a breather. Once such moment comes about the halfway point, aptly named ‘Interlude’. A short stormy sounding piece, but with an stompy drum beat. It’s like a march that leads into the war that is Valse Macabre. Brutally heavy, it has nothing but contempt for your ears. [9.5/10] GBHBL

Ansonsten ist dieses Album extrem variantenreich und deckelt im Prinzip die letzten zehn Jahre progressiven Black Metals in einer vergleichsweise kompakten und zielstrebigen Darbietung, die ihr experimentelles Naturell zwar jederzeit bewahrt, dem Wiedererkennungswert aber eine noch größere Bedeutung zuschreibt. Kaum zu glauben daher, dass dieses Album fast in den Archiven verschwunden wäre, ohne jemals eine Note an die Öffentlichkeit zu tragen. [9/10] PowerMetal

En matière de précision rythmique, DIKTATUR n'a rien à envier aux meilleures formations de Thrash brutal ! Non contentes de trancher bien nettement, les guitares placent régulièrement des incises raisonnablement mélodiques, sans esprit putassier aucun. DIKTATUR ne révolutionne certainement pas ce type de Black Metal froid, violent mais racé, mais je peux vous garantir qu'il le pratique avec une maîtrise et une efficacité qui forcent le respect.
